I currently serve am the President of the Catalina Art Association. I have been an Catalina Island resident for more than 17 years. I am living in Daina Beach, FL. at the moment working with Artists and doing Photography.

Resume:

Thank you for taking the time to review my resume. I would like to express my interest in working for you in whatever capacity you find applicable or available. I am charismatic, confident and easy to work with. My personality is calm yet confident. I am as comfortable leading as I am lending a hand.

Synopsis: After graduating from the California Institute of the Arts, I began working in the Internet and Graphic Design industry. After more than 20 years working in Marketing and Web Development, I turned my interest to Art and Photography. I have been fortunate enough to have won several awards for photography as well as being involved in running several successful Internet Start-ups and Art Galleries.

I am the current President of the Catalina Art Association, a Nonprofit Art Organization. I have recently moved to Dania Beach, FL. I love working as a community volunteer and involve myself in charitable endeavors when ever possible. Thank you again for your time.

OBJECTIVE

I continually search for creative and stimulating projects to help further my career and make my life enjoyable. My love for Art and People make working in the Art industry more of a fulfilling pleasure than a job but I take it very seriously.

CURRENT

I am an Award winning Photographer and Event Coordinator. I am currently the Vice President of the Catalina Island Performing Arts Foundation and President of the Catalina Art Association. I am a seasoned event coordinator, gallery director and devoted community volunteer. www.catalinaartassociation.org and www.catalinaperformingarts.com.

I run a not-for-profit web project called www.EcoEffort.com where I create and distribute environmental educational material.

RECENT PAST

Catalina Artists’ Market, Fine Art Gallery in Avalon, Catalina Island, CA. 2003-2008 Title: Gallery Director. Duties: Managed a large originals collection by local Artists, Produced Giclee and Photo Prints for Artists, Developed Websites, Graphic Design, Marketing plans, Hung Gallery, Framing, Produced Art shows, Gallery Events and all financial aspects from Artist payout to payroll. I opened the Gallery in 2003 and oversaw its relocation in 2007. The Gallery owners decided to close the gallery due to market forecasts and a decrease in our tourism. I then turned my attention to running the Catalina Art Association as president, running its gallery and directing several annual art festivals and events.

America Online Inc., Jacksonville, Florida. 1995-1997 Duties included online content development, Graphic Design, Rainman Production, Training department support, technical support (PC/MAC)

Pixelsmiths Inc., Glendale, CA. 1997-1998 Duties included Web Development, Web Presence Development, Graphic Design and Internet consultant. Although Pixelsmiths, Inc., was purchased by Z.com in 2000, I have stayed close to the team and have worked on several projects up to this date.

WebMetro, Inc. Pasadena, CA, 1998-1999 Duties included Director of Web Development, Graphic Design and Developer. The owners of Webmetro are a highly skilled production team and over the years I have worked as an employee as well as a contract developer for them.

Netologist.com In 1999, I started working as a contract developer and maintained a healthy client base to the present date. I have been fortunate in that my work as a contract developer has been based mostly on referrals. Netologist.com was my personal client and projects site highlighting my past and present project.
